Academics – Neral Skills & Development Center (NSDC)

Academics - NSDC Offers Diploma/ PG Diploma courses in various field, i.e. Sectoral programs to general management enabling students to gain in depth theoretical as well as practical training to be job ready in competitive open market.

NSDC has right to modify syllabus of any course at any time before completing the course duration. Students applied on the basis of XII th & Diploma will be granted & will be conferred "" DIPLOMA"" in respective field / area  after successfully completion. Those who sought admission on the basis of degree, will be conferred POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA"

Internship & Practical training/Field Visits/Project work as per requirement of course/syllabus is mandatory to undergo internship to comply with, efforts & initiative will be taken by NSDC itself to provide for internship in various industries but in related field, Students who are already working, may complete internship at their workplace. And during internship period students are advised to complete project report & to be submitted to NSDC. Students are advised to contact/ be in touch with course coordinator for guidance from time to time. Detailed program for internship, project report, field visit, study tour will be given separately, before commencement.

Field Visits are especially designed for students who sought admission to technical courses these students have to submit field visit reports in the journal provided to them by NSDC & have to submit to NSDC as per instruction of course coordinator, within the time stipulated. After theoretical exams each students have to appear for viva-voce conducted by a separate panel consisting course coordinator, examiner & practicing industry professionals. And viva-voce is a compulsory, Necessary and required guidance will be given to all students well before declaration of viva-voce dates.

Exams' & Certificates

During the course period NSDC is bound to conduct regular tests & tutorials are provided to the students at regular intervals, to assess the level of knowledge of each student, take initiative to uplift the student by personal & parental counseling to overcome exam fear & guide to build positivity so that the students can gain knowledge, enhance level work with confidence to be a robust in his area of functioning. For long duration courses, exams will be held as per semester assessment & 60/40 patterns, 60% for external assessment & 40% for internal assessment. Project / Thesis will be carry 100 marks & viva 100 marks, viva will be conducted at NSDC & interviewer will be professionals from various industries. Students are expected to answer the questions asked by viva panel, politely.

Results & Re-Examinations 

After completion of exam NSDC is bound to declare results within 60 days but not before 50 days. Intimation of results will be informed to all students who will come personally to collect result, i.e. Mark memorandum, provisional passing certificate. Final Diploma"" or ""PG Diploma"" will be conferred during the convocation ceremony purely meant for it. Date / Students who unfortunately not attend the convocation may apply for in absentia separately with required nominal charges. Students who did everything as per course syllabus, filed visits, internship & viva voce and finally not met with minimum requirement will re-appear for exam with the fees due for re-examination, Date & time table will be conveyed to students well in advance.

Office Timing

Though lectures will start from 08:00 AM. Office will be open at 09:00 AM, & will close at 06:00 PM, Lectures will be delivered from 08:00 Hrs to 18:00 Hrs, Office will remain closed on Sundays & Holidays, However class room teaching will continue/open even on Sunday.
